Jamaica Football Dying Fast

veryangry.gifveryangry.gif To know what and where we were ‘98 and to see where we are now it is unbelievable Crenston Boxhill  bottom.gif has done this country the greastest disservice. That any public servant has ever done and it is not punishable. I think he should be deported. His list of non-achievement yuck.gif is too long for my blog space but i will point out some of the glaring ones…..

  • No Match in the office.
  • The U23 Losing to Bahamas just yesterday (Oct. 11).
  • Building of a Football Academy with no football field and no clue when it will finish.
  • The biggest slide ever on FIFA ranking a not even going to note it.
  • And last but definitely not the least the highest paid “foreign” coach ever, who is doing nutten!!! NOTHING!!!!! but collecting J$1.34mil every week.
  • The continued bundling of administrative matters, eg. being fined for not taking part in a competition because we could not get a flight for the team.

                                              bora.jpg                              bora-m.jpg

Now this Coach Name is chair.gif Bora Milutinović  his record speak for itself …but when a coach is going to say after losing several matches that winning is not important ….. ranting.gif i start see a whole lot of red flags waving alarm.gif . He doesn’t care a catshoot about his reputation anymore, know why? because he is now collecting his pension and we are the ones paying it. A mean this man says that, with the amount he is being paid, his only concern is the senior team. The head coach of our programme getting $1.34million, losing left right and centre the and the youth programme in shambles ….and he goes missing whenever he feels like ……. Look seriously Bora has got to go … take a flight …….. BORA TEK WHEY YUHSELF moto.gif !!!!  thank you.

It doesn’t sound like he cares too much about the game, or the players… shoot he will still get his big check regardless of win or lose!

Bobby fi tell yuh the truth, I’m begining to view Jamaican football team, as how I view the W.I. team and that’s not a good thing!

$1.34 million? Dem might as well hire me instead.

    I like Jamaipanese’s suggestion though.

And the sad thing is that Jamaica has too much talent to be scraping the bottom of the Fifa rankings. Everywhere I go in the states (which is not necessarily saying much) Jamaicans seem like the best players I come across while playing recreational or semi-competitve ball. SMH.

@ Fiyah : Maybe too much of them have left the island :)

Perhaps that is because you are in the US as well…. here in Cayman, nuff Europen people are here and them nah romp when they play ball, trust me. Last night while suffering on the treadmill I was watching a team of elderly brits / irish / scots take apart a much younger, more local team in indoor football. The old guys were GREAT!

Ah1 the drama of the national football team. I wonder who told us that once the coach is imported is the solution to our problems. All my support has been diverted to athletics, volleyball, rugby as for footie i dont see a light.

He’s getting that much? Damn! I don’t think we should pay a coach who thinks “winning doesn’t matter” that much. I can’t even name our football team!
